That is the question. And it’s driving me insane!! For months now, I’ve been longing for Rock Band to come out for the Wii since it wasn’t released with the other consoles in December 2007. Even though it’s not as good as the Xbox and PS3 version since it lacks all the good stuff like the world tour mode, character customization, and downloadable songs but still sold at the same frickin price which is so stupid, I was still willing to buy it because c’mon, it’s Rock Band! Plus, the Wii version gets a white drum set!! And now that it’s finally coming out next week, June 22nd, the day I’ve been waiting for all year, I find out that Rock Band 2 will be released a few months later in 2008!! Ugghhhhh!! Now I keep juggling back and forth whether to get it or not since there’s so many positives and negatives to it. If I get it next week, my ridiculously long wait will finally be over and I’ll have all summer to enjoy it! But if I wait just a few more months for Rock Band 2, I’d be getting the better one since it’s newer and all. But then there’s a very possible chance that it’ll be delayed to 2009. There’s also a very possible chance that even when it does come out fall 2008, the Wii version probably won’t come out with the rest of the consoles since it was just released a few months ago. But if I get it now, and the second one actually does release on time, I will have to get the new one too which will bust my dad’s back pocket! My brain hurts :[
